The 22nd edition of the CJF – Child and Junior Fashion. Spring has completed its work. We thank you for your participation in the exhibition, and we do hope that it has given you a new impetus to further development of your companies and brands.
340 exhibitors from 25 countries have presented their collections this season. Manufacturers and distributors from Austria, Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, the UK, the USA, and other countries – all together more than 400 famous brands – demonstrated clothes for children from 0 to 16 years of age, school uniform, footwear for children, accessories, and headwear.
After a very short time, the pavilions of Expocentre will host the professionals in the children’s fashion industry again. We’ll be pleased to meet you again in September at CJF- Child and Junior Fashion. Autumn!

Sportswear models catwalk with participation of the children’s agency of Slava Zaitsev Fashion House and young girls athletes became an outstanding event of the spring CJF exhibition. The arrival of maestro at the show was a real sensation! On the same day, Edgar Davids, a football star from the Netherlands, held a presentation of Monta Juniors®, his own brand of sports clothing.
There were two well-known shoe brands presented at the PRISMA stand: Pablosky® (Spain) and Superfit® (Austria). These brands have become the synonyms of such concepts as proper shoes and children’s feet care. Valeria Semina, the company manager, spoke about the new shoe collection.
Russian Form, a company from Ryazan that once started its way in business with reselling school clothes, has launched its own product line-up of school uniform.
Skandia®, a popular footwear brand, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year! The brand was founded in Italy in 1979. Over the past years, the company has strengthened its positions including the Russian market, and today it has become one of the leaders in the children’s footwear market. The company presented its autumn/winter 2019-2020 collection at the exhibition.
Krasavuska®, a fashion brand of the clothes for children, presented a wide variety of garments for girls for daily wear and parties, and also a novelty: Unicorn, a gift set, at the spring exhibition. Anastasia Voronova, the brand’s designer, told about their collections in more detail.
A.I. Kids®, a premium brand of clothes for children, became one of the most outstanding debutants of the CJF – Child and Junior Fashion exhibition.
Gamma, a factory from Oryol, has designed two new collections of hosiery for children in partnership with the Russian designers supporting the world’s collaboration trend.
Stilyag® clothes for children produced in Ivanovo have taken part in the CJF – Child and Junior Fashion exhibition for the first time. The company operates in the segment of reasonably priced nice clothes: knitwear for teenagers, clothes for school, sports clothes, and holiday clothes.
Denis Fomin: Conference on Fashion Magazin Fashion Platform brought together buyers and producers from 20 regions
The conference on Effective Online Sales Technologies for Clothes and Footwear for Children organised by the Fashion Magazin online platform was held within the supporting program of the exhibition. The leading experts of the industry, buyers, producers, and distributors of clothes and footwear for children took part in the conference. The three competitions were held on the same day in the following nominations: the Best Website for Buyers, the Best Instagram Account, and the Best Online Store for Customer. Denis Fomin, the co-founder of the multi-channel B2B Fashion Magazin Fashion Platform commented on the results of this action-packed day.
Elena Pismenskaya, the founder of Kids Fashion Retail Consulting Agency, a permanent expert of the exhibition, held two seminars. The first one was on prices, taxes, promotion and how to make profit and the second one on loyalty programs. Besides, Elena agreed to be our stand expert and shared her impressions on the trade show as a whole.
Licensed Marketplace has been held for the first time at the CJF –Child and Junior Fashion exhibition: manufacturers and distributors of clothes and footwear for children took part in it. The participants discussed new ways of dealing with licenses and major market trends. The invited experts provided detailed recommendations on the ways of operating in the ocean of licenses: how to choose the most profitable ones, where to start, what analytics to use, and how to calculate the return on investments. We asked Roman Fedotov, OLYMP Association Director and the moderator of the session, to comment on the results of the session.
Ariadna 96 presenting G’n’K®, their own brand of outerwear clothing for children, is keen not only on production, but also on promotion: the manufacturer has been awarded by Fashion Magazin Platform for the best website for the buyers. Olga Kabargina, Business Development Director of the company, told us about a new collection of G’n’K® in detail.
BTK Group, a major holding in the textile industry of Russia, has participated in the CJF – Child and Junior Fashion exhibition for many years, but it has presented such a full and multifarious product range for the first time. The company specialises in manufacturing of high tech textile products, in design and production of service dress uniform and casual clothes. The school uniform collection demonstrated at CJF. Spring attracted great interest among the industry professionals. Rudolf Sakharov and Aleksandra Nurova, the company representatives, told about new products and plans of the company in detail.
Several new collections were presented at once at the Zolotoy Gus (Golden Goose) company stand this spring. Each of them deserved a high appreciation of visitors: new models of school uniform, new products for newborn babies, and more. Dmitry Sukharev, the company’s Art Director, spoke about some features of new collections.
Sens Fashion is an example of how a family studio turned into a Russian brand of school uniform manufacturer. Since 2015 the company has annually produced and sold about 100,000 high quality products at an affordable price. Svyatoslav Sokirko, Director of the Tyumen branch of the company, who represented the brand at the exhibition, told about the collection and about the company’s plans.
