Congress of Children’s Goods Industry will discuss priority issues of the industryThe Congress of Children’s Goods Industry will begin on September 24, on the first day of the exhibition. The organisers are the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Expocentre AO. The heads of production and trade enterprises, the representatives of the federal and regional executive bodies as well as the industry experts will attend the Congress.

The Congress will open with the plenary session on National Projects: Drivers for Development of Children’s Goods Industry, where CEOs of companies and representatives of the Ministry will participate.

The participants will be able to discuss the priority tasks of the export strategy at the session on International Cooperation and Export Strategies in the Children’s Goods Industry.

Various aspects of labeling, which will become mandatory before 2024 for manufacturers, distributors and traders, will be discussed at the Session on Implementation of Digital Labeling and Tracking System for Children’ Goods.

On the same day, a round table will be held on Identification of the Main Problems and Obstacles for the Innovative Domestic Equipment to Enter the Market of Educational Technologies.

The second day of the Congress, September 25, will begin with a visiting meeting of RusAccreditation (Federal Service for Accreditation) Working Group on the activities of accredited persons in the field of conformity assessment of the goods for children on Confirmation of Safety of Children’s Goods: Trust You Cannot Check. Its organisers are the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Association of Enterprises of the Children’s Goods Industry.

Another important topic will be discussed at the visiting meeting of the Working Group of the FCS of Russia: on the new priorities and opportunities to improve the administering of the customs authorities for the movement of children’s goods across the customs border of the Customs Union.
