Ivashka® will develop brand shops retail chain

Ivashka® clothes for children factory from Ivanovo plans to develop its own chain of brand shops. The reasons for this decision are recession in the economy and closing of many small shops which were customers of the factory, the company explained.

Several new mono-brand retail outlets will be opened already in 2018-2019, RDT-info quotes Oleg Kazhanov, Commercial Director of Ivashka®factory.

“We see that it brings much better results because in this case our products are presented the end users according to our own marketing strategy, according to our rules, and at our recommended retail prices. It means that our products are not overpriced, and the sales results are good”, Oleg Kazhanov says.

Today, the factory possesses five own shops and 40 franchise retail outlets. Meanwhile, 95% of the total sales are made by the brand’s online shop. The products of the company are presented mostly in the regions of our country, and less in the capital.

The company also plans to enlarge their product line-up and put a better focus on the clothes for teenagers: this is explained by decline in the birth rate in the country, and by redistribution of demand.

Ivashka® factory of knitted fabrics for children was established in 2006. Its territory is about 3.6 thousand square meters, and it employs 300 workers. The company has its representative offices in 14 cities of Russia.
