35th edition of the International Exhibition for Child and Junior Fashion

17–19 February 2026

The 35th edition of the International Exhibition for Child and Junior Fashion –  CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2026. Spring will take place on 17–19 February 2026 in Moscow. It is a leading professional platform for the presentation of seasonal premiers of the children’s fashion industry.

This year’s spring edition will take place at a new exhibition venue –Timiryazev Centre, Chayanov Hall.

The organisers will introduce an updated layout of the showcase in the new Timiryazev Centre for the convenience of searching for goods that will simplify the work of buyers. The emphasis will be put on tactile experiences and live fashion shows that cannot be replaced in online format.

CJF will not only present current collections of clothes and shoes for children and teenagers, but will also become a place for searching for effective business solutions and participating in the EXPO-Academy and EXPO-Accelerator projects.

Both the show and its conference programme pay special attention to practical issues of the industry as the children's fashion market is entering the spring season in the environment of a changing economy, increasing competition in e-commerce and marketplaces, and changing regulations in taxation and labeling of textile goods and footwear.

Fashion shows

An important and interesting event of the first day will be the Fashion Show of Debutantes ‘The Legends of Russia', devoted to the Year of Unity of the People of Russia. The participants will show collections and products created by students and teachers of the First Moscow Educational Complex based on folk tales.

The fashion show of debutants will take place on 17 February at 16:45 (participation is free after registration, the number of seats is limited).

The regular CJF. Children’s Catwalk project will continue to show children’s fashion collections with the support of the PROfashion media holding and the TOP SECRET model agency. 

Trend tours

As usual, Anastasia Kotova, a trends experts and representative of the Carlin Creative Trend Bureau in Russia, will hold a regular trend tour of new products of children's clothing manufacturers: trends and hits of collections.
The tour’s format combines a lecture part and practical work at the exhibitors' stands covering the topics of the global context of the season, design concepts, and applied elements of capsule design such as  colours and their combinations, prints, finishing, accessories, and silhouettes.

Conference programme

This year, the conference programme includes practical events with the participation of experts representing the Centre for the Development of Competences in the Fashion Industry at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, the Centre for Advanced Technology Development – an operator at the Chestny ZNAK National Track & Trace Digital System, the Assembly of National and International Business Development, the Carlin Creative Trend Bureau (France), the First Moscow Educational Complex, and other partners.

The programme focuses on applied topics that directly affect sales and business sustainability in 2026:

EXPO-Accelerator will feature a daily marathon of workshops with lecturers at the First Moscow Educational Complex. Everyone interested, in particular, will be able to create their own electronic avatar for modeling clothes using a special body scanner, paint a shopping bag, learn how to use moodboard in the digital design of clothing models, or embody the artistic image of a model using computer graphics.

Vadim Merlis, a well-known designer, founder of the MERLIS brand, participant in fashion weeks and many TV fashion projects, and special partner at the First Moscow Educational Complex, will hold workshops on upcycling: a current to small-scale manufacturing on 17 and 18 February.
