Children’s Catwalk put on fashion shows of children’s clothes as part of CJF - Child and Junior Fashion Spring Edition

On 25-27 February 2014 the spring edition of CJF-Child and Junior Fashion Exhibition was hosting the fashion shows of children’s clothes presented by participants in the CJF: Children’s Catwalk Project. They were held with support from the PROfashion Media Agency.

CJF-Children’s Fashion is Expocentre’s project, which provides industry professionals with an international platform for interaction. Over the years the show has distinguished itself as a unique venue for consolidating existing and generating new business.

CJF: Children’s Catwalk is a great opportunity for designers and companies to expose their achievements to the market. By taking part in the project the companies garner attention to their brands as well as gain prompt feedback from the market, which enables them to generate more sales leads and maximise the impact from exhibiting at the show.

The central focus of this season was on manufacturers of school uniform. The most prominent of them presented their collections at CJF. Children’s Catwalk. Among them were Smena Clothing Company, De Salitto, Chadolini, French Toast, Silver Spoon, Borelli, Mash, and Fracomina mini.

The organizers, for the first time, introduced a new web logo for the participants in the Children’s Catwalk Project at this edition of the show. With the logo, the companies will be able to draw attention to their websites and generate interest among industry professionals.

The professional team of interior, lighting and sound designers made it possible for the participants and visitors of the fashion shows to view the latest collections of children’s wear produced by leading manufacturers and take a dive into a fascinating world of childhood. The event attracted leading buyers and officials from sectoral ministries.

The event showed that CJF: Children’s Catwalk had reached the entirely new level of performance thanks as much to an enhanced attendance and media support as to the visual presentation of the project.

About the participants in CJF: Children’s Catwalk

Smena Clothing Company is a major Russian manufacturer of school uniform, casual and smart clothes for children. The company uses quality domestic and imported natural fabrics, advanced technologies and modern equipment for its products, laying a special focus on innovations and custom design. At CJF: Children’s Catwalk the Smena Company presented its line of school uniform and, specifically, the latest models.

De Salitto is a new Italian brand of kids’ clothes established in 1993. On the first day of the show the company demonstrated its school uniform. They use light, fine, transparent fabrics like chiffon and lace of various patterns which add to the romatic style of their clothes. On the second and third days of the show the company presented its autumn-winter 2014-2015 collection. Season’s fashionable colours, fetching patterns and decor elements filled viewers with nostalgia for an unforgettable period of life called childhood.

Chiadolini is a brand of stylish and comfortable casual clothes for kids offering an ideal mix of modern design, top quality and affordable prices. Over three days the company presented three collections - spring/summer, autumn/winter and school uniform. Chiadolini’s school products are a combination of two different but yet equally stylish fashion trends. The models offer comfort while reflecting taste, beauty and intelligence of a child.

Fracomina mini is a brand owned by P.F.C.M.N.A. S.p.a (Italy) - the company operating in the textile market since 1930. The collection of girls’ wear by Fracomina is romantic, a little eccentric and free-spirited. With all the ingredients mixed up, Fracomina produces multifaceted, functional, romantic, bright, funny and stylish clothes.

Mash was initially a men’s and women’s wear brand set up in 1974. Later on they created a collection of kids’ clothes marked for innovative design, unique style and affordable price.

Specialists at the Silver Spoon brand believe that despite being seemingly conservative, school uniform no longer equals black and white suits or a soviet combination of dress and apron. Modern school uniform is classical silhouettes and models reinvented and combining comfort, style and elegance. That is a concept Silver Spoon strongly upholds. Conservative in a classical way and at the same time light, delicate, art-deco-inspired line of school uniform created by Silver Spoon for the season 2014 will hit the market shortly. School uniform by Silver Spoon is elegant and comfortable children’s clothes, rather than a dull uniform. It can fit any environment, be it educational or festive.

Borelli by Alessandro Borelli presented school uniform for the 2014/2015 season, and it was just enthralling.
Fresh stylistic solutions and an extended colour palette enabled the company to broaden the range of models and submit them for the approval of a young audience.
Classical models modified with winning design solutions are suitable for a classroom as well we for a party.
The school uniform by Borelli can be a dress-code for a school of any level or status.

The French Toast brand is a US leader in sales of school uniform and school accessories. French Toast uses the latest technologies and its uniform is marked for high durability. The fabrics are made with a patented technology and are crease-resistant. With the uniform by French Toast - shirts and t-shirts, made of combination of fabrics, skirts, trousers, tunics and cardigans - kids will look really smart. They will never reject wearing such school uniform.
