Autumn – that earned recognition in professional community over the years, will begin the work at Expocentre Fairgrounds. In anticipation of the event President of the Russian Union of Textile and Light Industry of Enterprises, member of the Russian Public Chamber Andrey Razbrodin answered some questions.

– With a bright 20-year history, the Mir Detsva Exhibition has been a leading Russian trade show for the industry of children's goods and services for many years, using the well-deserved recognition and respect in the professional community. Exceptional social significance of the project emphasizes its main purpose, which is to promote the development of a transparent civilized consumer market in Russia, to saturate domestic market of children's goods and services with affordable high-quality and safe products produced domestically. It is no secret that the industry of goods for children is a socially important sector of the Russian economy and the current policy calls for an accelerated development of this promising and investment-attractive economic sector of the state.

– How successfully the market of goods for children is developing? What are its prospects?

– The market of goods for children is one of the fastest growing in Russia. Its volume is about 700 billion rubles. Fifteen related sectors, including textile, clothing, leather, timber, woodworking and other industries are working in the interests of children. Demand for products for children is growing steadily. The market shows yearly growth of more than 10%. In this sense, the development perspective for domestic enterprises in the industry seems to be very decent

– Does Soyuzlegprom participate in projects organized by Expocentre ZAO?

– We have been working with Expocentre actively and productively for more than a year. Earlier this year, the Legpromforum First International Forum of Textile and Light Industry was held quite successfully as part of the Inlegmash International Exhibition, jointly organized by the Russian Union of Textile and Light Industry Enterprises and Expocentre ZAO. We plan not to stop at that point. There are a lot of interesting joint projects and we look forward to their successful implementation with colleagues from Expocentre.

– What do you wish to participants in Mir Detstva 2014 and CJF 2014. Autumn?

– I wish all participants, organizers and visitors to these exhibitions to have success and fruitful work, interesting and productive dialogues, new ideas and designs. I am confident that the business activities during the exhibition will contribute to the development of a constructive dialogue between Russian producers of goods for children, representatives of retailers and consumers. They will strengthen the position of domestic producers in the retail market of this country, which will have a positive impact on the development of the industry as a whole.
