Two major international trade shows for children goods Mir Detstva 2015 and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2015. Autumn opened on September, 22 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The industry experts rightfully consider them the events of the year.
Mir Detstva 2015 and CJF 2015. Autumn are supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Association of Children Goods Industry Enterprises, Association of Art Industry Market Participants, and Moscow City Government. The trade shows run under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Chairperson of the Council of the Federation of the Russian Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko sent her welcome address to the organisers, participants and visitors to the exhibitions. She is positive that “such exhibitions as Mir Detstva and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion will promote creation of good and healthy environment for children, upgrading of education, and introduction of new technologies used in teaching and upbringing”.
In her welcome address Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnaz Kadyrova pointed out that manufacturers of children goods together with parents brought up children and promoted children’s health and education. “It sets high demands to safety and quality of the products”, she said and wished the participants in the Mir Detstva 2015 and CJF-Child and Junior Fashion 2015. Member of the Council of the Federation Committee on Science, Education and Culture Iriada Tikhonova, Director of the Department of Exhibition, Fair and Congress Activities Igor Korotin, President of the Russian Union of Textile and Light Industry Enterprises Andrey Razbrodin, and President of the Association of Children Goods Industry Enterprises Antonina Tsitsulina also took part in the opening ceremony of the Mir Detstva 2015 and CJF 2015. General Director of Expocentre ZAO Sergey Bednov welcomed the attendees and said, “The Mir Detstva exhibition mirrors all global trends in the market of children’s goods and has no equals in the number and quality of exhibitors and trade visitors”.
He says about 500 companies from 30 countries take part in Mir Detstva 2015. They show their best products and services for children and teenagers as well as new programs of education and personal development on the exhibition area exceeding 14,000 net sq m.
CJF – Child and Junior Fashion, which runs at Expocentre Fairgrounds in autumn and spring, is the main trade show for manufacturers, suppliers and designers involved in the child fashion industry. The exhibitors in the autumn edition are 252 companies from 19 countries. More than 30 exhibitors participate in the show for the first time, among them manufacturers from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Spain, and Turkey.
Both trade shows are accompanied by comprehensive event programs. Thus, the Mir Detstva program features the Investment Forum on Investments in the Childhood are Investments in the Future of Russia organised by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The trade shows will run till September, 25.
