Event Program of the Russian Textile Week
The Russian Textile Week features events for the industry experts, which will be held on February 25, 2016 among them
– Enlarged Meeting of heads of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade with representatives of retail chains and textile enterprises on Necessity to Create Self-Regulating Market Council to Pool the Interests of Retailers and Manufacturers. Prospects of Abiding to the Code of Good Practice.
The meeting will be moderated by Viktor Evtukhov, State Secretary, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. The participants and speakers are representatives of Sportmaster, Metro, Auchan, Familia, Detsky Mir, IKEA, Lenta, Snezhnaya Koroleva, Hoff, members of the Retail Companies Association, Souzlegprom, etc.
– Plenary Meeting on Viable Regional Industry Projects, where participants will present industry projects carried out or to be carried out in the Ivanovo, Vladimir, Smolensk, Bryansk, and other oblasts.
The meeting is moderated by Denis Pak, Director of Department of Internal Trade, Light Industry and Consumer Market of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Among the participants there are representatives of Vologodskiy Tekstil, Protex, BTK-Tekstil, Baltex, and other industry associations and enterprises.
The Russian Textile Week will run at Expocentre from February 23 to 26. It is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Russian Civic Chamber. The Week is organized by the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry and Expocentre ZAO.
The Week brings together the Inlegmash international exhibition for textile manufacturing and processing, the CJF – Child and Junior Fashion international exhibition for child and junior fashion and maternity wear, the Techtextil Russia international trade fair for technical textiles, nonwovens and protective clothing, and the Intertkan international exhibition for fabrics and textile materials. The Week’s key event is the international forum of textile industry Legpromforum.
