Mir Detstva 2026 and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2026. Autumn will take place at Crocus Expo, Pavilion 2, from 16 to 18 September 2026.

In 2026, the Russian Society Znanie became the General Partner of Mir Detstva for the first time. It allows us to expand the agenda of the joint conference programme and discuss more issues of concern to the children's goods and clothing industry.

Mir Detstva is Russia's largest trade show for the children's industry. Every year it brings together manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, representatives of marketplaces, government authorities, and associations of parents.

The show offers products in the product categories of Toys and Games, Goods for Newborns and Babies, School and Creativity Supplies, Children’s Furniture, Prams and Safety Seats, Goods for Sports and Recreation, Books and Learning Aids, Licensed Products, and Party Supplies and Services for Children.

For the first time, Mir Detstva 2026 will have a single display of franchise companies that will not only demonstrate the investment attractiveness of the children's retail and services segment, but also become a practice‑oriented platform for building partnerships between regional entrepreneurs and federal chains, opening new channels for scaling socially important projects.

CJF – Child and Junior Fashion is a key event in the world of children's fashion. Twice a year it brings together leading market players, manufacturers, distributors, representatives of government authorities and industry associations in Moscow.

Visitors to the shows are representatives of wholesale and retail trade of federal and regional retail chains, as well as sellers on marketplaces, that is, everyone who is interested in new business contacts and relevant products for children.

The international exhibitors will present educational games and toys, children's transport, models, creative kits, products for toddlers, sports products, clothing, shoes, and accessories for children and teenagers.

Conference programme

This year, the joint conference programme of Mir Detstva 2026 and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2026. Autumn includes 25 events.

As usual, the events of the first day will enjoy participation of major industry players, government representatives, and leaders of industry associations.

In particular, Yana Lantratova, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, extends her support to the Panel on the Safe Environment and Digital Literacy in the Family: Challenges and Solutions, organised by the Public Council for Interaction with Civil Society under the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, the National Project Fund, and EXPOCENTRE.

The event will be moderated by Elena Kalgina, Deputy Chair at the Public Council for Interaction with Civil Society under the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, founder and Executive Director at the National Project Fund for Support of Educational Initiatives.

The Russian Znanie Society jointly with EXPOCENTRE will hold the first Panel Discussion on A Native Toy (Rodnaya Igrushka) at Mir Detstva: Priorities, Support for Manufacturers, and Proper Guidelines for Upbringing on 16 September.

Its participants will discuss the development of the Russian children's industry, modern gaming solutions, government support measures for manufacturers and practices that help promising developments go from idea to market entry. A separate discussion will be devoted to the role of toys in the upbringing of children, the impact on their development, and how children get acquainted with the history and culture of the country through toys and games.

In addition, there will be a thematic fashion show Thematic display of A Native Toy: Aesthetics as a Lifestyle. Young models will show the winning toys of the first season of the Native Toy competition on the podium.

Many participants of Mir Detstva are already taking part in the Native Toy competition, which is held by the Russian Znanie Society and the Movement of Firsts on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation.

The second season of the competition will be devoted to the creation of games and toys based on traditional values for the preschool education system. The competition is held in three categories, depending on the stage of project readiness: Ideas of Games and Toys, Prototypes of Games and Toys, and Finished Products.

Taking into account the current difficult situation in the children's industry, EXPOCENTRE organises a marathon of educational workshops with leading industry experts within the EXPO-Academy project in order to support regional small and medium-sized businesses.

For instance, EXPOCENTRE launches a new project–an interactive Trend Quest with Mr. X– and   invites visitors and exhibitors to take part in this unique event. It will definitely be useful for retailers and sellers on marketplaces who want to know exactly which children's products to give preference to in order to ensure high turnover in an unstable market.

On the trend quest, you will be able to independently test the presented children's products and receive professional recommendations from market leaders on the creation of a so-called dream shelf, an assortment that will be interesting to a current buyer.

The first quest will be conducted by Alexandr Elkin, an expert with over 20 years of experience in the children's goods market, who will help you choose unique positions for your store that set you apart from competitors and tell you how to build an assortment to ensure not only demand, but also high profits.

The first day will be concluded with the Expert Session on the Dialogue Between Producers of Animated Content and Specialists from the Institute of Education: Quality, Safety, and Pedagogical Value of Animated Content, organised by the Russian Animated Film Association and EXPOCENTRE in partnership with the Institute of Study of Childhood, Family and Education.

The event will bring together Russian animation producers and experts to discuss relevant issues related to improving quality standards, ensuring safety, and the pedagogical value of modern animated films.

The event will be moderated by Irina Mastusova, Executive Director at the Russian Animated Film Association.

The 5th anniversary edition of the Forum on How to Create a Perfect Children's Dream Fashion Boutique. Tips from Seasoned Veterans: Design, Window Dressing, Merchandising, Team will take place on 17 September at 14:10 in the Skazka Conference Hall in Pavilion 2, Hall 11. The event will bring together renowned experts with extensive experience in organising successful stores of children's goods, clothing, books, and school supplies.

Therefore, if you are finally ready to open your own boutique or want to give a second wind to an existing store, but do not know how to do it correctly and profitably, this forum is for you.

The forum’s moderator will be Yana Orobiy, a business psychologist, psychodynamic coach, organizational consultant working with business owners and teams.  

The Forum on How to Maintain Growth and Profitability on Marketplaces in the Current Environment will be organised by EXPOCENTRE and XWAY on 17 September for sellers who want to get up-to-date information about the trends and prospects of the marketplace market, the specifics of selling children's goods on leading platforms, product promotion tools, and working with AI.

The event will be attended by the industry’s leading experts. Shamkhal Ildarov, President at the Association of Textile Workers of Russia, Chair at the Committee on Textile Industry at the CIS Business Centre, will speak about growing without profit: where manufacturers lose money on marketplaces and how to bring back the business economy. Ivan Budnik, Head of AI Development at M.Video, Solo Founder +AI, ex.Director of e-Commerce and Digital Transformation at Gulliver Group, expert of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the development of e-commerce, information technology and digital economy, will tell the audience how to move from dependence to balance and create your own e-commerce business.

The forum will be moderated by Anton Moskalenko, Marketing Director at XWAY, speaker, and moderator of conference programmes within category exhibitions.

ROSTEST will organise for exhibitors, who want to keep up to date with the latest changes and requirements in technical regulation, the ROSTEST Academy. Practical Session on How to Ensure the Safety of Children’s Products from Raw Materials to Finished Goods. The Responsibility of Manufacturers and Importers.

The event of ROSTEST Academy bring together interested participants and provide opportunities for the exchange of experience between the business community and experts through an open discussion of cases and proposals for universal solutions to difficult tasks.

The project’s speakers will be Natalia Sheremetyeva, an expert auditor for conformity assessment of chemical products and consumer goods, member of the ROSTEST Expert Council, Yulia Chumanova, Deputy Head of the Product Certification Body, Deputy Head of the Certification Support Department, and Maxim Varnakov, a legal adviser. They have deep expertise in the field of technical regulation and will be happy to answer questions, share their experience, knowledge and implementation practices.

On 17 September, on the eve of the new business season EXPOCENTRE jointly with the Carlin Creative Trend Bureau Russia will organise a review of trends for Autumn/Winter 2026–2027: the fashion industry's top trends, colours, prints and shapes, and trend tour of new products of children's clothing manufacturers: trends and hits of collections around CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2026. Autumn.

The project’s participants will gain exclusive access to global macro and micro trends that will determine the development of the fashion market in the autumn-winter 2026/2027 season in a rapidly changing consumer landscape. It will no doubt become an obvious competitive advantage for them.

The event is organised for fashion designers, buyers, creative directors, stylists, visual merchandisers, and fashion industry marketers.

The events’ speaker will be Anastasia Kotova, a trend expert and representative of the Carlin Creative Trend Bureau (France) in Russia since 2006. Anastasia has already conducted more than 500 strategic sessions for the largest players in the Russian textile and garment industry.

On 18 September, EXPOCENTRE in partnership with the Russian Franchising Association, the Franchising Association of the Northwestern Federal District, and TopFranchise.ru will organise the Forum on A Non‑Childish Conversation about Children’s Franchises.

Its moderator will be Vasil Gazizulin, a founder and managing partner of TopFranchise, international franchising expert, author of the book ‘Grow with a Franchise’, Forbes columnist, Chair of the Franchising Development Committee at the Opora Rossii Moscow City Branch, member of the Russian Franchising Association.

All session participants will receive not only useful knowledge and experience from companies that have long been engaged in development through franchising, but also useful gifts such as a chapter from the book ‘Grow with a Franchise’ and checklists for selecting and creating a franchise.

All speakers will be ready to provide a personal consultation and will tell you in more detail about the first steps in franchising.

Now that the global logistics chains are restructured and new consumer markets are shaped, Russian manufacturers and distributors are developing business relations in Asia.

On 18 September from 14:35 to 16:00, EXPOCENTRE in partnership with Sinoruss will organise the key Forum on Business with Asia. How Russian Companies Can Work with the Asian Region: Prospects and Trends for the Children's Goods Market in the Skazka Conference Hall.

The meeting will be moderated by Anastasia Valova, Managing Partner at Sinoruss Consulting.

The expert will answer questions from the audience about the niches in the children's goods and fashion market in Asia that are most promising for Russian companies today, talk about updated settlement tools such as partner banks, payment gateways and restrictions, offer effective practical solutions, and help build a quality control system, inspections and certification in the face of changing requirements for children's products.

The event’s participants will discuss why Russian design and environmental friendliness are becoming a new competitive advantage in the oversaturated markets of China and Southeast Asia.

A session on the cultural and legal specifics of negotiations, counterparty verification, and intellectual property protection in the children's segment will also be interesting to all participants.

The Workshop on the Roadmap for Labeling Children's Goods, Clothing and Shoes will be organised in partnership with the Centre for Advanced Technology Development–an operator at the Chestny ZNAK National Track & Trace Digital System–on 18 September.

The workshop speakers–Alexey Rodin, Head of the Children’s Goods Department in the Consumer Goods Management Division at the Centre for Advanced Technology Development, and Olga Nikiforova, Project Manager of the Textile and Garments Product Group–will talk about changes in legislation, new requirements for labeling goods, the stages of launching mandatory labeling of games, toys and clothing (roadmap), what is included in the list of exceptions, and how to avoid mistakes in this area.

Alexandr Elkin, an expert in the children’s industry with over 10 years of experience working with B2B China platforms, will offer a Masterclass on How Small and Medium-Sized Businesses Can Carry Out Direct Purchases in China Using B2B Platforms.   

The fashion shows of CJF. Children’s Catwalk 2026. Autumn will take place on 16–18 September. The project is organised by PROfashion Media Agency and EXPOCENTRE with participation of the TOP Secret model agency and school for children. It will bring together collections of the CJF exhibitors – manufacturers of clothing, hats and shoes for children and teenagers.
