CJF Child and Junior Fashion 2014. Autumn

The 13th edition of the CJF Child and Junior Fashion. Autumn International Exhibition for Child and Junior Fashion, Maternity Wear, which ran at Expocentre Fairgrounds from September 23 through 26, once again became a key event for buyers, manufacturers and designers of childrens fashion.

The exhibition is organized by Expocentre ZAO. It is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Auspices are provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The exhibitions high international standard is confirmed by its labels of UFI the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and RUEF the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

During the show, industry experts met CEOs and officials working in this sector of economy to exchange opinions, discuss relevant industry issues, and arrive at solutions necessary for future development of the children goods market.

The autumn 2014 edition welcomed 270 companies from 15 countries. The exhibition space of 6,156 net sq m accommodated stands demonstrating well-known brands, new collections of childrens clothes and footwear, accessories for children, clothes for pregnant women, and designer collections of clothes and footwear for children.

The latest collections were demonstrated by such well-known companies as Amadeo, De Salitto, Nevsky Alliance, Malenkaya Lady, harmante, Makkonti, Deti ZAO, Deloras, Gallery Kidswear, Slyavanka, Arron, Colabear, Kiddiko Group, Babymuz Cocuz, Kavat, Bebetto, Kidssmile, Luhta, Didriksons 1913, Mayoral, Modnye Deti, Noble Peaple, Acoola, Shaluny, and many others.

Product sectors of CJF Child and Junior Fashion 2014. Autumn included clothes, footwear and accessories for children, clothes for pregnant women, fashion and design.

The Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions Project continued its mission to reduce the number of cases when counterfeit products are displayed at exhibitions. Other ongoing projects were Labour Exchange and HR Consulting, Express Consultations on Trends and Style in Childrens Wear, and Customs Clearance Consulting Centre.

Accompanying events of CJF Child and Junior Fashion 2014. Autumn dealt with business training and featured the 11th Practical Business Forum CJF Child and Junior Fashion.

The programme included conferences, round tables, presentations, seminars, professional competitions for the best business management and promotion.

The main business event of the market of goods for children in 2014 was the Russian Trade Forum for Children Goods Suppliers organized by KVK Imperia. Its general partner was Expocentre ZAO. The forum had more than 250 participants from 50 cities and towns of Russia. Buyers representing 40 retail chains held more than 1,200 talks with suppliers. The Forums programme included five specialized sessions and reports, and the only one in the industry Retail Chains Purchasing Centre of children goods.

The programme of CJF Child and Junior Fashion 2014. Autumn included the 10th Annual Professional Conference on Children Goods Market: Creation of Successful Brand in Turbulent Conditions organized by Synovate Comcon and Expocentre ZAO. The conference covered the current marketing trends on the market of goods for children.

One more significant event was the 11th Session on Licensing and Franchising: Brand Strategies and Development of Chain Stores in Children Goods Industry.

One of the most promising directions of business development is Internet stores of goods for children. The participants in a seminar organized by and Expocentre ZAO shared secrets for increasing sales of children goods via Internet.

The seminar concluded with the award ceremony for the winners in the Competition for the Best Online Shop organized by and Expocentre ZAO. The was named the winner in the Best Online Store for the Buyer nomination.

The exhibition also included a visiting session of the Children Goods Industry Working Group on Improving Regulatory Measures for Children Goods, and the Workshop on Technical Regulations on Children Goods Industry.

Arno Business School and Expocentre ZAO held the Session on Effective Running of a Kids Store, which attracted a large number of participants.

Specialists showed a great interest in the seminars on Tax Liability. Topical Issues; How to Reduce Risks When Choosing Purchase Models; Trends for Autumn/Winter 2015/16. Childrens Wear; as well as seminars held by Fashion Consulting Group on How to Calculate Efficiency of a Store and Deal with Shelf Stock, and Seminar on Techniques for Creation Effective Commercial Store Windows. Traditionally, CJF Child and Junior Fashion 2014. Autumn presented the CJF. Childrens Catwalk organized by Expocentre ZAO jointly with PROfashion Media Agency. Its participants were leaders of the childrens fashion industry such as Chadolini, Lila Style, Smena ZAO, Cleverly, Vitacci, Acoola, Karamelli, CROCKID, and My Little Spain. They showed both everyday and special occasion clothes, as well as footwear and accessories.

As usual manufacturers of school uniforms drew a lot of attention.

The award ceremony for the winners in the International Competition for Goods for Children and Teenagers, organized by ANO Soyuzexpertiza of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expocentre ZAO, was also held during CJF Child and Junior Fashion 2014. Autumn and Mir Detstva 2014.
