Mir Detstva 2020 and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2020 to be rescheduled to 2021

With only two months left before the planned opening of the international exhibitions for the children's goods industry - Mir Detstva 2020 and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2020. Autumn, and the fact that mass events in Moscow are still not allowed, Mir Detstva 2020 and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2020 are to be rescheduled to 2021.

In addition, the date of resumption of international aviation traffic is also unknown, and we cannot ensure participation of foreign exhibitors and visitors, which will negatively affect the level of international participation.

The Mir Detstva 2020 exhibition will be held from September 21 to 24, 2021. The running of CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2020. Autumn is cancelled. CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2021. Spring will be held as planned from February 22 to 25, 2021.

The Division of Exhibitions reported that the postponement decision is dictated by the fact that, as always, the priority for the organisers is the efficiency of participation and safety of exhibitors and visitors.

The Mir Detstva and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion exhibitions are one of the most important Expocentre’s own brands, which have a long history of active development in the Russian children's goods and fashion industry. They serve as a unique communication tool for industry professionals on an international scale and, according to experts, are a universal marketing tool for the industry recovery from the crisis caused by the pandemic.

The exhibitions unite more than 1000 leading domestic and foreign manufacturers and suppliers of children's goods from 30 countries of the world on the space of more than 25 000 square meters.

In order to keep the exhibitions’ participants informed about the latest trends in the children's goods industry, from September 22 to 25, 2020, in the dates for which the autumn exhibitions were scheduled, there will be organised an online business programme with the participation of leading speakers.
