Expocentre held the 10th edition of the CJF – Child and Junior Fashion’2013. Spring between 26 February and 1 March 2013. The show ran with support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow City Government.

The exhibition continues to develop in response to the needs of the booming children’s fashion industry. The event has been recognized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).

The spring edition of CJF - Child and Junior Fashion’2013 showcased new promising collections and designer projects by 220 companies from 17 countries on a show floor of 4 363 sq m, with the Russian display being the largest. Russian exhibitors accounted for 88% of the total number of exhibitors.

CJF - Child and Junior Fashion’2013. Spring covered all sectors of the children’s and maternity fashion industries including clothes, footwear and accessories for children, clothes for expectant mothers, and the Fashion and Design feature area.

The exhibition featured the Business Contacts Exchange, Specialists’ Contacts Exchange (Labour Exchange) and the Customs Clearance Consultation Centre.

The spring edition presented new generation of fabrics and ran shows of school uniform made of innovative materials.

The exhibition incorporated the 8th CJF - Child and Junior Fashion Practical Business Forum, the Setting Up and Promoting an Online Store: Step-By-Step Guide Internet Forum , and the New Prospects for Growing Sales of Children’s Clothes Through Wholesale and Retail Distribution Channels Round-Table Discussion.

The spring edition of CJF – Child and Junior Fashion’2013 also featured seminars discussing perspectives on the development of the fashion industry, ways to set up successful children’s shops in small towns, the Customs Union and WTO rules and regulations for customs clearance, purchasing in the children’s fashion industry and other topics. 

Many renowned manufacturers of children’s clothes, including Yevro Stil OOO, TM Bullica, Detstvo OOO, Viktoria Teks ZAO, TV Brendy, Parents-Profi OOO, Malenky Prints TK OOO, Apriori Group OOO, Magia Detstva OOO, presented their new collections at the Children’s Catwalk fashion show, which became one of the highlights of the exhibition.

The spring edition presented a new and very important project Expocentre For Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions, which gained support from industry specialists. The imperative of the project is to stop counterfeit products from being showcased at exhibitions and prevent copying of innovative exhibits. The exhibitors and visitors of the show were able to get advice from seasoned lawyers on IP protection and enforcement.

The exhibition closed by the announcement of the winners of the International Competition Among Manufacturers of Goods for Children and Adolescents, held by ANO Soyuzexpertiza of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. There were two nominations: the Best Consumer Properties of Goods Award and Successful Promotion of High Quality Goods Award. The winners were VIT Industriya ÎÎÎ, Uspekh OOO, Akos Teks OOO and Detstvo OOO.

Over the four days, the exhibition was attended by 5 830 visitors. The total attendance made up 8 720.
