Participants in the 9th Russian Trade Forum for Children Goods Supplier held on September 24-25, 2014 at Expocentre Fairgrounds will learn what will happen to the market of goods for children when the consumer demand falls.

The Forum, organized by the Imperia Exhibition Company and Expocentre ZAO, is designed for leading players on the market: executives of manufacturers and distributors of goods and services for children and teenagers, representatives of federal and regional, specialized and general retailers. Delegates will find a rich program of presentations from professionals and well known industry experts, who feel confident in today's challenging environment and are ready to share their experience in building an effective business.

“In addition to the informational content, our Forum also provides practical business component to its delegates. I am speaking about the industry’s only Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains™. Delegates will be able to apply the received information right here and now: the participants will conduct direct negotiations with interested buyers of retail chains, offer their products to conclude supply contracts in the future,” says Forum Producer Georgiy Sokolov.

On the 24th of September, the main topic of the forum will be a strategic session called The Market of Goods and Services for Children Threatened by the Economic Downturn. Surveys of participants of the market of goods for children carried out by the organizers of the forum show conflicting results: many have noticed a significant drop in consumer demand, by 20-30%, but there are those who even notice a slight increase. So what is brewing in segments such as toys and games, clothing and shoes, baby products, children's cosmetics? Moreover, what does that mean to suppliers?

On the same day two focus sessions will take place. The first will be devoted to entry strategies into retail chains, and the second one will be devoted to the deviation from competitors on the market of goods for children. Participants will discuss the working tools to succeed in an unequal struggle with western brands and Chinese factories. In addition, the programme includes a master class on how to get maximum from the Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains, and a special report called Launching a New Children Brand on the Russian Market.

The main event of the forum will take place on the 25th of September – Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains, where suppliers will hold individual talks on deliveries with purchasing managers and commercial directors of 35-40 retail chains.
