Bella Monella Presents Holidays and a New Year Sentiment
On the New Year eve our exhibitors sum up the annual results and remember a lot of the most outstanding events they have had. Zolotoi Vernisage (Golden Vernissage) has had a very fruitful year; the company took part in a number of international fashion shows, has made a lot of charity activities, and they also introduced a new brand: Bella Monella. The brand is now presented by Victoria Bushueva, the company General Director.
Bella Monella collection was developed by CatischE Design Group, a group of Italian designers. They used French lacework, hand crafting with Swarovski crystals and, what is very important, thin and soft cotton lining. A simple cut and minimalism give children a feeling of easy motion. Comfort and convenience are the most important characteristics when parents choose clothing for children. The brand presentation took place this autumn at the CJF – Child and Junior Fashion exhibition. We received very good feedback and reviews from our old customers as well as from the new ones.
We appreciate our customers’ response very much; we tend to take into account all their demands. In the first turn, we consider the wishes of our little models who are the first ones to test our collections. This year we took part in a closed fashion show organized by Moscow Dreams Production Center in a beautiful French town Fréjus. The show took place in the historical museum which serves as the Mayor's office of this historical town. We presented our new collection Bella Monella and Russian designer folk costumes and attracted great interest of the French mass media. Also we took part in a very interesting fashion show in Tula during the 15th Season of Gubernsky Style, the International Fashion Design and Craftsmanship Festival.
This autumn we’ve participated in Estet Fashion Week; 88 children took part in our fashion shows, the little models came from different regions of Russia and also from Thailand where our factory is located.
We remember with warm thanks the Charity Marathon in Moscow Arcade Gostiny Dvor where children from orphan homes took part. We were happy to select and give them nice clothes. That was a memorable and touching festival visited by many popular stars and organized by Moscow Dreams Production Center.
This year has not been easy: the children’s clothes market is changing, and it is important to catch up with all trends and understand what will be popular in the nearest future. The market of small individual shops is shrinking and retail chains conquer the market actively. We are learning to work in this changing world.
We are planning to open our own retail outlets in the nearest future. I’d like to make clothing more affordable for the end user and I am not happy with the extra retail margin applied by retailers today. Clothes for children should be nice, of good quality and affordable at the same time! This is the task we put for ourselves for the next year.
Our company staff is international, Russians are the main part of it, but we also have people from Burma, Laos, India, Thailand, people from different religions, with different views, but with the same love for the business they do. These different mentalities all together invest into the final product of our company which we are proud of.
On the New Year eve I’d like to wish the industry colleagues to be patient and sure that all will be fine. We are moving forward anyway, the main thing is to keep moving, learn new things, make progress and be more positive! We all are doing the same fine business!
