The Congress of Children’s Goods Industry will begin on September 24, on the first day of the exhibition. The organisers are the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Expocentre AO. The heads of production and trade enterprises, the representatives of the federal and regional executive bodies as well as the industry experts will attend the Congress.

One of the oldest companies, Obyedinenie Souz ZAO, which produces school writing implements, will take part in the exhibition for the first time. Maintaining tradition, the company has manufactured pens with nibs and inks from the world’s leading manufacturers for 95 years.

The Krasnokamsk Wooden Toys Factory has manufactured toys for more than 78 years already. Over its long history, the enterprise has made papier mache toys, wooden toys, glass Christmas tree ornaments, decoration flowers, and printed tabletop games. At present, the Factory is producing learning games for children and toys made of the Russian birch tree and beech, the cleanest and warmest material which is very close to heart.

ArtAvangard, a factory located in Kirov, which has celebrated its 80^th anniversary, will present their new product line of paintbrushes: eco-squirrel brushes, made of synthetic fabrics imitating natural squirrel hair.

On September 26, an expanded meeting of professionals in the field of supplementary education “A Successful Child from Birth: World Practices and Trends” will be held as part of the Mir Detstva supporting program. At the event, the intermediate results of the Concept for the Development of Children’s Supplementary Education will be summed up.

On September 26, 2019, for the first time within the Mir Detstva and CJF – Child and Junior Fashion exhibitions, a conference on Success Formula for Children’s Store will take place especially for owners, managers, category managers of stores, and retail chains of children's goods. Ekaterina Buzukova, an expert in product range management, will hold one of the sessions devoted to assortment optimisation in children’s goods stores.
