Lucky Child presented a collection for FIFA World Cup
Russian company Lucky Child has produced a collection of clothes for children for FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia®. The collection was presented at the CJF - Child and Junior Fashion 2018. Spring exhibition. It is for the first time that a company producing clothes for the little ones receives a license of such a high level and status. The experience of Lucky Child deserves a close attention with no doubt.
The collection consists of three groups of articles: clothes for new born babies up to 1 year of age (Baby); holiday clothes for the age 0 to 3 years old (Main), and clothes for leisure and bathing (Bath).
All the products are made under the license of FIFA using the official branding (logos of the officially licensed FIFA products and also labels, mascots and goblets of FIFA World Cup®). Cotton fabrics, jacquard applications with laser cut fine line detailed pictures were used in the articles production. In bed linen digital prints are used, and embroidery is used on the bathrobes.
“We have purchased the rights for the official products for the whole 2018,” Aron Tukhvatullin, Business Development Director of the company says. “We offered our samples, our product vision, and we demonstrated a high quality. So, we received the right to produce the goods with the official symbols of the championship. Why did we make this decision? The World Cup is a key event for our country and participating in it will give additional opportunities for our company, and it will help us tell about our brand. We talked to the customers who managed to catch the hype during the Sochi Olympics: they saw how the topical products sales sharply increase. The football championship is an even larger scale event, if we take into account the coverage of the participating territory, and the TV ratings. We understand that the attendance at and the involvement in the championship will be important for a large part of the fans, and they will want to buy some products for their children.
“The company plans a wide marketing support to the collection including cooperation with leading football clubs of Russia and famous people. The retail sales of the clothes collection of FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia® will start in March, 2018 in Russia. Very strict terms have been put in front of us, every step was specified in detail, every color shade and every form; we have been moving strictly according to the guide. We coordinate our every step with the Headquarters in Switzerland. But we have achieved a very beautiful result, and all the items have been approved not only by FIFA, but also by our partners.
“For us it is an absolutely new and a very important experience. We want our company to have a strong push for a further development; we are awaiting new customers from other market segments. Since the products are souvenirs to a certain extent, this opens doors to other customers. For the moment we are the only company in this segment. At present we are preparing a collection for sale.”
