Regulatory authorities and manufacturers will fight counterfeit products togetherFor the second time over the history of the exhibition, the conference on Specifics of Certification and Labeling of Goods and Garments for Children was held; it aroused great interest among the exhibitors. Svetlana Kvasova, General Director of the AntiCounterfeit International Association, spoke about the results of the autumn seminar.

Why is it important for us to hold this seminar at the CJF exhibition? Because we want as many industry professionals as possible to participate in the discussion of this serious issue. We talked about certification, product marking, and the fight against illegal turnover of uncertified products. Probably, you may know that every fourth product for children is in illegal turnover today. It is very scary, because these are unpredictable goods. That is, our children contact these products every day. Therefore, our task is to attract attention of the people who are directly involved in production and sales, everyone who is related to the industry of goods for children.

At such meetings, specific tools are developed, the industry receives answers to its questions, and we can adjust our steps in solving the tasks. We receive from the seminar participants clear, working questions that lead us to the most effective solution.

Olga Chusovskaya, Head of the Children’s Goods Industry Bureau of the of the Department of Development of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Yuri Khitev, Head of the Analytical Department of the National Institute for Accreditation, Svetlana Somova, Operator-CRPT Project Manager for Textile and Garment Industry, and others spoke at the seminar.
